I have the pleasure to propose for rent Villa Dharma, my family holiday villa in the gorgeous Torre delle Stelle, in the South East coast of Sardinia. Villa Dharma has the benefit of private swimming pool and luscious garden. The villa is surrounded by an enchanting garden with lots of Mediterranean shrubs and mature trees. The position of the villa makes it ideal for anyone looking for a relaxing holiday possibly car-free from June to October.
Villa Dharma is, in fact, located at just 300 m from a gorgeous white sandy beach called Genn’e Mari and less than 100 m away from the nearest foodshop, bar, restaurant and pizzeria. Everything can be reached on foot.
However, should you decide to rent a car to explore the many natural and historic beauties that South Sardinia has to offer, Villa Dharma also offers the benefit of off-street parking for two cars. The water in the pool is salted which makes it healthier and more suitable for people with sensitive skin or allergic to chemicals.
The accommodation of Villa Dharma is on two floors. The ground floor has just been entirely modernised with brand new open plan kitchen, dining living area and two sets of French doors that give access to a large covered veranda that overlooks the luscious garden and the pool.
The veranda is perfect for al fresco dining and it has the benefit of built-in barbecue. There is also a full shower room (the blue one in the pictures) whose access is from the veranda.
The first floor comprises of: •4 bedrooms (two double, one twin and one with a bunk bed) • 2 bathrooms (one of which en-suite to the master bedroom).
The master bedroom and the room with bunk beds have doors to a shared veranda from where you can see the sea. The second double bedroom also has an independent entrance.
The villa is ideal for two families or three couples.
The area.
The villa is within the enchanting village called ‘Torre delle Stelle‘. ‘Torre delle Stelle’ literally means ‘Tower of the stars’ and it takes the name from the ancient tower that dominates the whole area. All streets are also named after stars and constellations.
The position the villa occupies is particularly happy. It is, in fact, at very short walking distance from all the local amenities. The nearest bar, shop and restaurant are 100 m away. The nearby beach is 300 m away and it is walkable by children as well. Villa Dharma is also at just 300 m away from the local park.

Torre delle Stelle is an environmentally protected area and its beauty has been enchanting visitors since it was created 40 years ago. It has therefore become one of the most sought after areas of South Sardinia. Torre delle Stelle has 2 easily accessible sandy beaches, Genn’e Mari and Cannesisa. It also boasts a few sandy and rocky coves that can be reached either by boat or swimming.
There are shops, restaurants, bars and pizzeria in the village. Torre delle Stelle is, however, only partly inhabited all year round Shops and restaurants are therefore not opened every day of the year. They are, in fact, opened every day (7 days a week) from the end of May to the end of October. For the rest of the year one of the supermarkets and the nearby bars are opened from Friday to Sunday included. It is therefore possible to stock up with groceries and food during the weekend. Another option would be to go to one of the supermarkets on the way to Cagliari. The drive is of roughly 15 minutes. Beach bars are usually opened from June to September.
Both local beaches are ideal for snorkelling and for scuba diving.

We absolutely loved the villa, it really made the holiday. What an oasis to return to after the heat of the beach and it was clean with a great kitchen (we like to cook and it was perfect for that), modern bathrooms and an outdoor shower/ bathroom whsee more

What an oasis to return to after the heat of the beach and it was clean with a great kitchen (we like to cook and it was perfect for that), modern bathrooms and an outdoor shower/ bathroom which was handy. The garden is lovely and the local beach was perfect. The nearby restaurant was very good and reliable quality, we ate there several times each week. Highly recommend a drive to Solanas but otherwise we didn’t go anywhere and that suited us just fine!

Our party covered three generations, from us crinkly old grandparents down to our two granddaughters (18 months and nearly 5 yrs). There is so much to like at Villa Dharma - I don't know where to start the accommodation, location, pool, facilities, are all really comfortable and well looked after. A real family home feel to the villa. Loved the "back story" in the information pack and all the local area information as well as all the books and family games. Angela and Karim were extremely helpful. It was just a shame we didn't get to meet them during our stay. Maybe next time.

Absolutely fantastic home from home. Really comfortable living and sleeping areas with plenty of space for all. The pool area is shady in the morning so you can relax without exposure to the hot sun. It has everything we needed for the holiday and thsee more

It has everything we needed for the holiday and the water filter tap was great - nice to not have to keep stocking up on bottled water. All in all a 5* rental close to some nice restaurants, the little supermarket and of course the beach. Angela was always on hand to provide help if required and recommended a fantastic restaurant for my husbands birthday. Thank you so much for letting us stay in your lovely home.

The villa was fantastic. It is very close to a very well stocked mini super market, with bar and restaurant next door and only a few mins from the beach, which is lovely and very child/teen friendly. The villa is clean, well equipped, spacious and hasee more

The villa is clean, well equipped, spacious and has a lovely shaded out door area which is private and cool. The pool is large and visible from the seated area at the back of the house. We had a very happy week doing very little other than relaxing. Our hosts Angela and Karim were lovely and looked after us well. We took a risk by not hiring a car and using taxis from Cagliari due to the location and this worked out perfectly as we didn't feel the need to leave the area.

We spent 2 nice weeks with a family of five in the beatiful villa Dharma. We very much enjoyed the spacious house and the beatiful garden with big pool. Although the wheather was super hot, the garden and terrace offered a lot of shade and there was air conditioning in all rooms. The pool in the garden was spacios and clean and the walk to the beach obly 5 minutes. We did some trips by car but the car isn' t really needed as there is a shop 2 minutes from the house and a pizzeria, too. Most of all we really appreciated the kindness and helpfulness of our hosts . They were friendly and available all the time to help us. A clear recommendation!

The location is amazing, 5 min by foot to the beautiful beach, a nice pizzeria ond the grocery store incl. fish shop. The house inside is good aswell, the kitchen equipment could need an update. We love to cook but were quite missing some kitchen utensils e.g small cooking pots, wooden spoons, red wine glasses, real drying towels, can openers.

I am really pleased to read that you enjoyed your stay and the place, it is kind of magic. though of course I am biased as this is has been my own holiday home until my children were too old to spend their summers with their parent 😎. However, I am really sorry that you felt that there were missing items in the kitchen. Had you mentioned it during your stay Karim would have brought them to you within a day. Changeover day can be quite busy so it is not always possible to make a full inventory, sorry about the inconvenience... However, the 'missing' items have now been replaced so thank you for letting us know. I would have liked to make your stay even more pleasurable had I known it before, but at least you made things better for the guests that came after you 😊 I thank you again for having chosen Villa Dharma for your holidays in Sardinia and I very much hope to hear back from you sometimes in the future, Kindest regards

We had the most fantastic week at Villa Dharma and the villa far exceeded our expectations. It is so beautiful, warm and homely and my children absolutely loved the pool and gardens. We decided not to hire a car and we are so glad we didn’t as the well-stocked supermarket and fishmonger were within easy walking distance as were several restaurants and the fabulous beach. I’ve been to Antigua, Barbados and the Bahamas and I can honestly say that the beach and waters in this part of Sardinia are as close to the Caribbean as I have ever experienced in Europe. Angela and Karim were exceptional hosts and I would not hesitate to recommend this villa to anyone. Despite our reservations with it being a ‘pandemic’ year etc. we had an incredibly relaxing and truly unforgettable holiday. Thank you again.

The children loved exploring all the books and dvds and the terrace and pool is gorgeous. Comfiest beds if any holiday place ever. Very highly recommended and we’d love to be back next year. Cagliari is lovely too. |

What a perfect place to stay in sardinia. As it states in the details 300m from beautiful beach and not too crowded. We only tried the bar/cafe that is actually on the beach and they had a good range of snacks and drinks. We also hired a speed boat fsee more

We only tried the bar/cafe that is actually on the beach and they had a good range of snacks and drinks. We also hired a speed boat from Marco on the beach (under the red sunshade) and had a adrenaline filled morning riding the waves! The shop which looks small from the front is huge inside and will keep you stocked up, the restaurant is part of the shop is lovely and friendly and also for take away pizzas, if you just want to lounge around the pool. Both are approx 100m away - perfect! Back to the property - we booked it due to it showing shady places in the garden and we are so glad we did as it was so hot! Pool and garden really pretty, with lovely outdoor table area to sit and eat outside. We even had a special visitor come and see us every day (I went spoil the surprise!) he/she took a shine to my son and followed him everywhere, which was very entertaining! Karim was on call to answer our questions and recommend places to visit. The house is a real home from home experience with good air conditioning. We would definitely recommend this property for the ease of getting to the shop and beach, as some places were high up and would be hard going in the heat. Thank you

Wir waren im Juni/Juli 2022 für zwei Wochen mit unseren 4 Kindern in der Villa Dharma. Ein perfekter Ort. Die Villa ist geräumig, es stehen überall Klimaanlagen zur Verfügung, welche wir jedoch nur vor dem Schlafengehen kurz angemacht haben. Das Haus ist sehr sauber und die Einrichtung völlig ausreichend. Begeistert waren wir vom frisch renovierten Küche/Wohn- und Essbereich. Die Küche ist neu und gut eingerichtet. Der Außenbereich mit Terasse und Pool entspricht genau den Fotos. Unsere Kinder haben den Pool geliebt und in dauerhaft benutzt. Die beiden Korbschaukeln auf der Terasse laden zum chillen ein. In unmittelbarer Nähe zur Villa befindet sich ein Supermarkt, welcher von uns fast täglich angesteuert wurde. Ebenso ein kleines Fischgeschäft wo wir ab und zu frischen Fisch gekauft haben. Der Strand und das Meer sind ebenfalls super schnell zu Fuß erreichbar und die Bucht wunderschön. Wir haben mit unserem Mietwagen viele andere Strände in der Umgebung besucht. Auch hier hat es uns fantastisch gefallen. Wenn es überhaupt etwas auszusetzen gab, dann waren es die Mücken, welche uns in den Morgen- und Abendstunden genervt haben. Allerdings waren am Haus bereits diverse Utensilien gegen Mücken vorhanden (Rauchspiralen, elektrische Fliegenklappe, Sprays). Mit guter Taktik war der Mückenbefall dann erträglich. Die Kommunikation mit den Gastgebern verlief auch völlig unproblematisch. Angela war jederzeit erreichbar, sogar über Whatsapp. Wir sind sehr froh diesen wunderschönen Ort besucht zu haben und können die Villa Dharma absolut weiterempfehlen.

Aktuell bewohnt sogar eine Schildkröte (hier heimisch) das Unterholz :-) Im Aussenbereich gibts sogar ein Badezimmer mit Dusche und WC, und auch eine Freiluftdusche. Also alles perfekt eingerichtet für einen Tag draussen. Alles ist umsichtig und sorgfältig hergerichtet. Schön wenn alle mithelfen Sorge zu tragen zu diesem tollen Objekt. Einziger Aufwand Kehrichttrennung. Richtig so! Muss aber ende der Woche selber entsorgt werden (in Hausnähe, Auto von Vorteil. Einfach zu finden) oder man stellt an bestimmten Tagen den entsprechenden Eimer an die Strasse. Die Vermieter/Eigentümer sind sehr nett und hilfsbereit! Vielen Dank Angela und Karim 🌸
